Inspired by the show? then like and subscribe. And remember, wisdom is meant to be shared. So be sure to share this podcast with your friends and loved ones. Well like we say in meditation, present is a gift. So let’s begin today’s show.

Hello, enlightenment seekers and welcome to the Soul Train. And today is the first of our recurring segments called The Magic in Media. Well, what does that mean? Well, what I like to do is every month I’d like to have a different movie, TV show or novel that is inspirational. That’s almost spiritual, and we’re gonna talk about it, and we’re gonna look at ways of why this is a spiritual film, TV show or book, and we’re going to find the magic within that piece of art.

So, I hope you enjoy it. And welcome to the first segment of The Magic In Media. I think most of you enlightenment seekers and people who are just enlightened already know that artists, all types, filmmakers, musicians, painters, they are more connected to the spirit than most. So it’s not surprising that artists are always touching upon spiritual issues. And there are some novels, films that are not blatantly spiritual, like biblical films or what not, but somehow or another, there’s an underlying spiritual context. So you can find this in books like The Alchemists, which is the story of a simple boy searching for treasure. But yet it is such a spiritual journey, people say, and will touch upon that at a later segment.

But today, what I’d like to talk about is the 1994 film Forrest Gump. No matter who I speak to, that’s seen the film. The reaction I get from them is immediate, just adoration like “ahh Forrest Gump. I love that film.” They can have no connection. They can have no connection to the story or to the history. But the film to them, touched them so deeply that it qualifies for this segment, which is the magic within the film. So Robert Zemeckis directed, Tom Hanks is the star in the film, Sally Field. Robin Wright. Um, it’s about 2.5 hours long, but I can say this personally, I don’t know about you guys. No matter how many times it comes on TV, I always feel compelled to watch it, and this is kind of funny, like if I’m watching in the middle of it and then I turn the channel, I kind of feel that, like I actually am being disloyal to the film. I know it’s a little crazy. But spiritual films that have an emotional connection that is so deep can make you get loyal to it. You become loyal to the film, as most of you know, the film Forrest Gump follows this young man through his life. Now he’s what we would call in my language, which is do-sha-lea, which is translated to so many things, but in this case means faulted in some way, and the PC way of explaining his position is he’s intellectually disabled. But despite his faultlessness, he still lived an extraordinary life.

We as the viewers, no matter how many times we watch it. We want to go through this journey with him and an amazing life. He did live. I mean, he went to the White House three times. He ran a major shrimp boating company, made millions of dollars and actually got to be with the woman he actually loved. So I believe it’s all due to his mom. He had an amazing mom, played by Sally Field, and what she did is she never made him believe, if you guys remember the film when he was young, that he was different from anyone else. And what his mother did was instilled at him a very strong spiritual power called confidence. So much so that it made him believe that there was nothing he couldn’t do. So think about that for a minute. There was no doubt, and I often talk about this guy named Jesus. You got my guys might have heard of him. He didn’t have any doubt of the things he could do. For example, I’ll make you guys laugh when he rose from the dead. As it reads in the story, you never see him surprised, like “Oh, my God. Did you guys see that?” I just didn’t believe that he was not surprised when the dead walked and the blind could see. And Forrest Gump had that magical confidence.

Without doubt, I think about that. Enlightenment seekers, without doubt. Now that can convey and inspire powers that are beyond earthly laws. Like time and gravity and all of the earthly laws we know about. So from that, how can he have such confidence? With such low intellect? Well, we believe that the mind and the spirit work together in the mind. Knows things of this world. knows the dangers of this world. Yes, it could be argued. It also knows the wonders of this world. But it knows the dangers and the more intellectual a person is, it will calculate those dangers. Now, Forrest, I didn’t have that high intellect, that high calculator. So to him if his mother, who he loved and loved him would tell him that. Then why would she lie? There was no confusion, For example, when Jenny told him, When you get into danger, if you see danger, just run. He didn’t think twice about it. He loved Jenny. Jenny loved him. Run when you’re in danger and that’s what he did. And look what happened. He became a hero and visited the White House as a result.

So let’s look at the underlying message about forest’s confidence. It actually created power for him. It pulled things to him that he believed, because he had no doubt. Now for us, we actually have our intellect and doubt gets in the way. But guys, if we can just just dim our doubt just a little bit, even just a hair. We can still create magical things in our life. Consider this. The moon is something like 209,000 miles away, and the moon creates a lot of our functioning here in New York. But just move it 10 miles closer, which is just a hair in reference to like 209,000 miles away, will have catastrophic events. So here’s the message we can get from Forests point of view of the film. Our confidence should be greater than our doubt.

Hey, all you listener’s. I hope you’re enjoying today’s lesson, and that is helping you strengthen your soul and live your best life. However, if you’re facing a difficult situation and don’t know what to do or where to turn, and you know that there’s only so much that you can get out of a self help book, motivational Instagram memes and, of course, inspired podcasts. Well, perhaps I could help you see we all go through emotional adversities, where we struggle just to wake up in the morning, whether it be a love issue, true loneliness or just feeling a loss of purpose. For years, I’ve been helping people from all walks of life to conquer their greatest challenges through spiritual understanding and the philosophy of righteousness.

Welcome back enlightenment seekers to our segment off the Magic in Media. So we talked about Forrest and his mom just to recap his mom did instill the confidence in him. The love she had for him was so great and the protection. She truly had a godlike love. But there are other characters in the film that we were lured to, and one of my favorite characters is Lieutenant Dan, Then I mean certainly, you know, played by Gary Sinese. It was my favorite character, and sometimes I didn’t know why. But what was interesting about him is he was confusing his family legacy to his spiritual destiny. And this all came to a climax on the shrimping bolt in that hurricane when he was sort of arguing with God, very similar to what Scarlett O’Hara did on terror in Gone With the Wind, you know? So let’s just recap of what happened with all of his, um, family before him. His father, his grandfather, his great grandfather all died on the battlefield in America’s great Wars. So he was in Vietnam, and he believed that his family legacy, that that’s what should have happened to him. And when Forrest saved his life, he became so dark and so bitter because he was so connected to something that was really just I hate to say it this way, guys, but tradition or or or cause war is not of God. Okay. And you know, I’ll teach that later in more segments, and we’ll talk about it. Violence and war is not of the god of light. So that can’t be what God wants for you. It just, It just can’t if circumstances occur. And our soldiers, who we owe a great deal of debt to, um, fight for our country, they deserve our utmost loyalty and support. But as spirituality dictates, that violence is not of God, violence of darkness, and we should try to avoid it at all costs. So this couldn’t be what God wanted for him or his ancestors, but circumstances has created it that way. So in the film, he got caught up in this and he did it. And he became very, very dark until that fateful day on the shrimping boat when God saved his life again. And I’d like to believe and it’s not in the film. And I don’t know what you guys think. That somewhere he realized that God wanted something from him other than dying on the battlefield. And if we continue the film we see that’s true because he winds up having this huge company invest in Apple and then gets married, falls in love, which is God and then supports all these charities and supports his best friend. And they get this special friendship so close that it is godly, so close that what brings us to the film is we would all love to have a friend like Lieutenant Dan, even though he was insulting you. We felt the love from him. He treated Forrest so horrible. The insults were just, you know, they could tear a person apart, but you actually felt the love. So what we can learn from Lieutenant Dan is that if we follow the attributes of God, which is love, long lasting life, clarity, truth. That dying on a battlefield is not God’s plan for us, it’s just just it’s just not to create unity, to create love, to support others and to continue life. And that’s what I believe is alluring to us with Lieutenant Dan.

The last character I want to talk about in the film Forrest Gump is, of course, Jenny, the Girl Forrest was in love with since he was a boy since that fateful day on the school bus. Um, he obviously loved Jenny dearly, but Jenny had a very complicated life. It’s easy to say. Like Lieutenant Dan, she faced the Devil head on several times in her life. Although the film never never says it directly, it implies that she was molested by her father. So no matter what Jenny tried to do in her life, she always still felt empty inside. What’s interesting is that she was always searching for love and what’s even more interesting. And this is like a phenomenon that really gets me because we as the audience, we feel that that the best person for her is Forrest. We know without a doubt that Forest loves her. So finally, Forrest Gump gets the courage enough to tell her that he loves her, and she replies, Forest, you don’t know what love is. Now the interesting thing is, she believes, because he’s intellectually challenged that he couldn’t possibly know what love is. But like I said before, we, the audience knows that he loves her and We know that he loves her and is very capable of love because his mother taught him that, and as spirituality dictates, that love is emotional, not intellectual. But tragically, she leaves again because she feels it’s not fair to him to be around him and to lead him on when he’s not capable of love. Now we all know that he believes that she keeps leaving him, but on the contrary, she wants to protect him. So let’s look at that protection. Love, truth, honesty, true unity. This is why we are so connected to the love story in Forrest Gump because it’s the purest of love in its most innocent form. And then it brings us to the scene where he does tell her, You know, Jenny, I’m not an intelligent man, but I know what love is, and I think at that moment she believes him. And then they get to spend a year together, and that was such a wonderful scene. And we, as the audience again, are pulled into this, and we want them to be together, even though with all her conflict that she has and the emptiness she has and the intellect he has. We are rooting for them to be together. And in the end they are even in her debt. Even after she has passed. And he buried her under the tree that they used to play on, You could still see that they’re together because love is an emotional thing, not a fleshly thing. We know that the spirits are still connected. So what can we learn from this part of Forrest Gump? What we can learn is love is emotional and not analytical. It is. It is created internally within us. And this is why we are, I believe, we are allured to Forrest Gump. This is why we feel compelled to watch it every time it comes on TV. It reminds us of something impossible can be possible. It reminds us that God does exist and that familiar feeling, creates a kind of settlement in our core. It makes us feel good. It makes us feel familiar. It brings joy, even if it’s only for two hours.

So enlightenment seekers. I hope you enjoyed the first segment of the Magic In Media. Thanks again. To all my enlightenment seekers, remember to exercise your soul by praying, worshiping and meditation. God-bless.

Well, enlightenment seekers. That concludes our lesson. I hope and pray that your soul got a little bit brighter. And remember to give yourself some time to meditate, pray and appreciate every single day. That way, to talk to you next time.

Rising Above Coronavirus

On this show, we’ll explore all things spiritual, including understanding true magic, discovery, the attributes of righteousness and breaking through the characteristics of evil who also talked with psychics and mediums, spiritual authors and teachers. And, of course, some of my personal clients who have worked with me for years to conquer their fears and adversities in order to become their best selves. Inspired by the show? then like and subscribe. And remember, wisdom is meant to be shared. So be sure to share this podcast, which your friends and loved ones well, like we say in meditation, present is a gift. So let’s begin today’s show.

Show hello, enlightenment seekers and welcome to this very special edition of the Soul Train podcast. The world is going crazy. It’s official. But, you know, we have gone through this before as a species, as humans, and I wanted to take this time to talk to you about what’s going on in the world and how we should look at this. But before I do that, I would like to share what you listeners about my clients, you see from time to time. My clients have a collective concern, and what that means is that they all come during their sessions, whether it’s over facetime or whether in person and they have the same concerns. It usually happens when there’s something going on in the world that would grab everyone’s attention now. Last time this happened was a few years ago. I don’t know if you guys remember when the Powerball reached catastrophic numbers. I think it was $1.6 billion dollars. So, naturally, all of my clients, I wanted to discuss this. Now my suspicion was that they believe that I’m an intuitive. They know I’m an intuitive so somehow or another that I can give them the numbers or miraculously pull the numbers from the universe or the subconscious to win this massive jackpot. The truth of the matter is, is that when there are so many people pulling or having the intention to pull numbers or an election, any intuitive wouldn’t be able to pick up those numbers because there’s too many people pulling on that energy and their essence and therefore essence. Unfortunately, we have a different collective interest this time around. As many of you know that we have an international pandemic in her hands. Now people are saying things like unprecedented, the first time something like this in our lifetime. And certainly all of that is true. And I can sit here and we can blame the media for over exposure of this situation. I could blame governments not handling it right. Be that as it may, listeners, We’re here now and what we should talk about today is people’s reactions to things because they’re not acting. They’re reacting to what the median government is basically putting on us. Now, just a quick disclosure. I am not a medical doctor. I am, however, a spiritualist, and our emotions live in our spirit. And with that, I can give some valuable insight on how to deal with our emotions, not to affect the way we’re thinking. And then, obviously, the way our flesh would react in the form of stress or would have you. So let’s just go through what’s happening right now. We are all experiencing panic by the people around us. The people we love, our neighbors, our community. We are very communal people. Human beings are very communal. Okay, so we react to not only what we’re hearing on TV. We are also reacting to what our neighbor is doing. Because if our neighbor is doing something in panic, we automatically think then feel that we are going to be left out and that emotion is fear. So our actions after that will be fear based. But that’s actions. Let’s talk about what happens in the instant that we feel fear, that emotion sends signals to our brain, and then we have what ifs. What if the government has a shutdown? What if we have martial law and then our imagination quickly imagines us in that situation and I promise you that’s not good, because we will believe that we don’t have. We’ll think about what we have in the refrigerator. Do we have gas in the car in the present moment and then that fear heightens within us and that causes stress, obviously. So, the first thing we have to do and think about is fear based actions. This is what we all should really, really stop and think about fear based actions. Now. What I like to put in place of fear based actions is fact based actions you see fact over fear. Once again, listeners. I’m not a doctor, and it would be refreshing to hear from officials that are talking officially to explain that they’re not doctors. So the funny thing is, politicians are not doctors. Journalists are not doctors, stockbrokers aren’t not doctors, and your neighbor down the street that seems to have all the answers, is not a doctor. You could rely on her for the latest gossip on the street, not information on the Coronavirus and this pandemic that is going on. But what you want to do is get your facts from public health sources, for example, CDC. gov and things of that nature. But what a spiritualist can offer like myself, is how to deal with emotions that affect our physical body. Now I can’t say with almost certainty that stress will weaken your immune system. Now, from what I’m hearing from doctors, I want to put that out there. That stress can affect one’s immune system, okay, and I don’t think you have to be in any of those professions that I just listed to know that. So here is where we have to think about how we are reacting to fear now, when we are constantly watching TV 24/7 getting all these reports that what may happen now the keyword is listeners of what may happen. That is a future situation now when we think about future situations and we’re hearing it from the news, which is almost always going to give you the worst case scenario, that future experience you will feel in your present. So let me go over that again. So you just understand how that’s how it works. Spiritually, we will let our minds go to a negative future. However, our bodies will be experiencing it in the present, so our stress will be in the present, which will compromise our immune system, which then we will be more susceptible to any disease, let alone the Coronavirus. Now, all of what I explained, I think, is very reasonable to understand. If we live in a negative future, whether that’s going to be the government shuts down or the government issues martial law. Those air very scary things that are in a possible future that will react in our present. So we all got that. But what about the things that are happening right now at this minute? Now, this podcast is being recorded on Saturday the 14th and should be released on Monday, the week of the 16th. So I don’t know what’s going to change in that two days, but right now the reality is pretty scary. That’s happening presently. For example, the supermarkets are empty. Your business may be suffering your 401 K may have lost a great deal of money, which these are things that are happening in the present, which can certainly cause massive fear, even to the point of panic. So let me give you some tips on how to go about your day with less fear as possible? The first thing you need to understand listeners is you don’t need a 24 hour news cycle. Anything that will add to your fear to add to your stress in this 24 hour modern new cycle we have. You should take responsibility and avoid as much as possible another thing that you want to keep in mind. as you want to keep moving and keep busy. If you wanna go for a run, do some work out at home, do things that are productive, get things done that you’ve been avoiding and focus on them. Because when you’re truly focused on being productive, this is what I call conscious meditation. No, remember this same fear cannot live in motion. Okay, lets me repeat that one more time. Fear cannot live in motion. So when you are constantly moving and focusing on a project, that focus will cause some sort of meditative state. And I’m sure this sounds familiar to you guys, because I’m sure when somebody’s really focused on something, they forget all the other problems that they have. And this is what brings me to meditation. Now, some of you that know how to meditate and you’re experiencing some of these present fears I would urge you to meditate even longer, focus even harder, and some of you that are having harder time to focus before you meditate. What I would suggest is to light a candle in front of you and stare at the flame for a few moments, really? Really gaze into the flame. Notice everything about the flame, how it dances with the air, what gives his energy and that will create a more relaxed state for you to go into a meditative state, especially around this type of chaos that’s happening in the world. And then, of course, we have the ideology of Let go and Let God you see listeners. When a person is facing something that they truly know is out of their control and they have a religious base or believe in a higher power that we call God. It is wise in a situation that you have no control over to, Let go and Let God. And that’s basically just saying to yourself, I have no control over this. I believe in a higher power. I believe in God and you hand it over to God and go about your normal day. Because what happens is when we truly believe in a higher power, as I do. And you believe that God does love us and does protect us. And when we handed over into the higher powers hands a righteous higher power, this gives us a sense of protection, which calms our fear because someone of the divine or something of the divine is taking control, and we’re allowing that the allowance off, God taking control thus let go and let God. Now we will be right back in a few minutes, and I want to share with you how we can handle this as a collective. It’s something that I believe everyone should hear, and I think it’ll inspire use to all. Do the right thing. We’ll be right back.

Prologue Munich, Germany. 1919 The young German corporal greeted in the sweet, exotic smell of incense as the gypsy guided him into her parlor, she drew back a thick red velvet curtain and gestured for him to pass through a narrow doorway into a small, dimly lit back room. Seating herself at the far side of a tiny round table, she gestured for him to take the chair opposite. As he sat down, he could feel the heat from the half dozen candles flickered eerily in movie glass jars, like something in a church or shrine. Give me your hand, the gypsy said. The soldier was suddenly filled with incredible fear. Ancient and frail, she was. This woman surely couldn’t hurt him and he found himself terrified. He could hear his mother’s voice long ago, telling the innocent child he had once been. “My son, beware of the Gypsies. Satan himself created them. He put gypsies on the earth to steal from good German people.” The soldier never forgot his mother’s morning nervously slicking his dark hair to decide and stuttering a bit. He told a woman, I didn’t come here for palm reading. Yes, I see you’re here because you want. You are a seeker,” she said with a piercing stare and what it is you seek for me, an old gypsy. Welcome back, listeners. Now I want to spend some time on how shall we look at this pandemic virus from a human experience. Now again, this is going to be from a spiritual lens. I work with clients one on one. It’s very rare in a communal situation. I don’t do groups. I don’t even do meditation groups. Maybe it’s something I’ll think about the future, but I don’t do it now. Now, when I work with somebody individually, usually we’re working on a specific goal. Now I’m also working with them on their purpose. Now it’s important to understand that every human being living today has a purpose, and that purpose is lined with the attributes of God, love, prosperity, clarity, courage and so on. Now, in a human being’s lifetime, from birth to death. They struggled to find that purpose and then live that purpose and have success within that purpose. But in that lifetime, they face adversities. We all face adversities because darkness or evil, which is the opposite of righteousness, will try to attack that purpose. Now the mass majority of us will face that negativity, that adversity, and we will come out better people. Now. It must be said that sometimes negativity wins some battles, and what happens when we face negativity way too many times that we don’t have the proper spiritual family or religious support. We can move away from our purpose and then just sort of give up on it. And then we live an unfulfilled, mundane life or another direction. Where we can go with negativity, wins battles, is we accept negativity. We accept lies, we accept manipulation. We accept jealousy as part of normal human behavior. And then I can assure you you will never find true fulfilment in that type of behavior. But that’s the minority. But most of the time our adversities make us stronger. Humans, stronger spiritualists, stronger professionals, stronger parents, more courageous, definitely more wise. Now what does this have to do with what’s happening right now? Well, in history, if we look at humanity, there are times that we face these adversities as a collective. I mean, if we just think about the last 500 years we had the bubonic plague. Almost 200 years ago, we had the cholera outbreak that nearly wiped out 10,000 people in London alone, and most recently we had World War Two in the Holocaust, which is the most evil event that we can think of. These are historical events that we lived through as a race as a species. Now, the model in England during World War 2 was to keep calm and carry on, which is the most beautiful and simplest way of what I explained earlier in this podcast. To keep calm without fear and move on. Now, when we face these adversities, these evils, if you will. Yes, We sacrificed, we lost. We got afraid. But we moved on, and as a result, like it happens to us individually, we became better as a species from the cholera that happened nearly 200 years ago in London. We discovered our sewage system was getting into our water supply. This is what was discovered which led us to discovery of germ theory. Before that who knows what made us sick? But then we discovered Dr Scientists that germs made us sick and as a result, we became better as a species more advanced, live longer, stronger and more courageous. More recently, again with the Holocaust, the model is today never again. Now, yes, we had some incidences off genocide, Rwanda, Bosnia Hercegovina and immediately the world react as soon as they could and put a stop to it again. It made a stronger and better people as a human race. Now in spirituality, you will be attacked individually and once in a few generations we will be attacked by negativity, evil, whatever you want to call it as a collective. Now there will be casualties. Now, as a spiritualist, I don’t like to call the people who give up their life casualties in the war in the cholera epidemic and what’s happening today when I like to call them, as I like to call them martyrs because off their debts off their sacrifice, we as a people shall and will become more courageous, more wise, make more discoveries and be better. So it doesn’t happen again. We will be more prepared next time. So in a way, something like this needs to happen every few generations so we can evolve into better, smarter, wiser, more courageous as a people. Now, those of us who pay the most that maybe don’t give up our lives. People that may be lost loved ones or people that are suffering financially lose their job. Well, those are the ones that are carrying the most burden on their backs, and then we have to all be patriots to come together when this passes, because it will pass. Just think about what we went through in the past. I just named two or three things that were even far greater than what we’re seeing right now, and we’ve overcome it. So to be patriotic, take my advice, facts over fear and let’s come through this together as a people facing this adversity, facing this evil together, doing what’s right. Being responsible, always putting righteousness first. Together we will overcome this. And I hope you all stay safe. Remember to meditate, pray and be responsible. I’ll be here next week and thank you again. Enlightenment seekers for listening. And please remember to exercise and train your soul.

Okay, well, enlightenment seekers. That concludes our lesson. I hope and pray that your soul got a little bit brighter. And remember to give yourself some time to meditate, pray and appreciate every single day, that way to talk to you next time. And remember, I’m G.S. Eli and for more information. Religion and Spirituality

Hello, enlightenment seekers and welcome to Soul Train, a podcast where we will strengthen your spirit, enlightened your passions and help you find your purpose. I’m GS ELI, and I’ll be your spiritual trainer and host on this show. We’ll explore all things spiritual, including understanding true magic, discovery, the attributes of righteousness and breaking through the characteristics of evil who also talked with psychics and mediums, spiritual authors and teachers. And, of course, some of my personal clients who have worked with me for years to conquer their fears and adversities in order to become their best Selves. Inspired by the show, then like and subscribe. And remember, wisdom is meant to be shared. So be sure to share this podcast, which your friends and loved ones well, like we say in meditation, present is a gift.

So let’s begin today Show hello, enlightenment seekers and welcome to Episode two of the soul trained. You know, it’s interesting when Roma people greet other Roma people. They always greet them with a wish or what you would call a prayer. We would say Dad’s Bach double, which means may you be prosperous. So I thought I’d be interesting to talk about prayer because prayer is part of training your soul. Okay, who you’re praying to, whether it’s dark or light and how to pray now, so many of us.

We equate prayer to religion and often share with my clients that religion and spirituality are two different things. And you know what else is interesting? And also two different things. The Holy Bible and the Catholic Church. Too many people believe that the Catholic Church is the publisher and creator of the Holy Bible. Okay, it’s not. It’s a matter of fact there’s thousands of years in between them, but that’s education in history, and I don’t know if we want to get into that. But the truth of the matter is that prayer also is not exclusive to the church or any religion, but what it is. It does help you kind of a line your soul. Okay, I recall the first time when I was younger, when I really, truly understood how we pray. Okay? Because as I spoke about in our last week’s podcast that the soul doesn’t kind of exist, it does exist.

So just to recap we went over last week is our soul is our character and is part of us. And as I mentioned, less weak. It has two parts, two main parts, that is, and that is the light and the dark. The light is all of love and clarity and prosperity. Enjoy. These are emotions and the dark is of lies and greed and dishonesty and manipulation and the foundation of our soul is intention.

It weighs on your intention and vice versa. So that is our soul. Okay, now prayer, along with meditation, worship and other things can help train our soul and exercise. Or so But I kind of when I was younger, back growing up in the eighties, I really didn’t, you know, care about it. I thought, like everybody else thought that prayer was associated with religion and Jesus and Jehovah because we grew up in a very much orthodox family and my grand parents, who raised me who were incredibly spiritual and, you know, they were religious. But they date. They knew that spirituality wasn’t religion and religion was just laws, rules and regulations. Spirit was was really, really what they were all about.

I recall my grandmother forcing me to watch a film that many of you have may have seen when you were younger or recently because they play it every year was called Gone With the Wind and Going With the Wind. There’s this iconic scene of Scarlett O’Hara, hungry, destitute, in poverty and desperate that grabs something from the ground that was growing out of the ground. I think it was a beat out of this rotted field, and it’s trying to devour it because she was so hungry and it turns out to be spoiled, and she spits it, outs and vomits, and then she rises up and in anger. Okay, I think you guys know the scene because it’s iconic and it’s part of American staple in pop culture, and she raises a fist to the sky as she was speaking to God and she vowels, I did the exact dialogue. I don’t remember. I think she says this war is not gonna lick me. I think she starts it off like something like that, because it was the midst of the Civil War and she says, I don’t care what it takes after this war. I’m never gonna be hungry again if I have to lie, cheat, steal or kill as God as my witness. I shall never go hungry again. And this was the iconic scene.

I’ll never forget my grandmother asking me the next day Is that did you? And she said, Did you? Because she fell asleep during the broadcast. She said, Did you see the part where Skyland sold her soul to the devil? And I was confused. I said, I tried my brain. I’m like, I don’t remember that. I don’t recall that happening. And then she goes. Of course it does. And she recalled the scene when she was on the hills of terror and I said, Well, no, she was speaking to God, and then my very wise grandmother said something I’ll never forget. And she said, George, what kind of God would you think would listen to that type of prayer? And I was just blown away right there, and I thought about it for a minute, and I said, Like I guess I don’t know. And then? Then she asked me well, at the end of the movie, was she the richest woman in Atlanta. And I said he has she wants, she was the witches woman in Atlanta. So the prayer was answered is basically what she was saying. Okay. But she was also talking about a duality about a duality that the god of love Jehovah, Allah, whatever name you want to give him. Because in our culture we don’t see God as a sovereign man. But you can if you’d like whatever religion you carry. If I learned growing up that how you visualize the God of love to be, whether it’s a burning bush that Moses spoke to or a feeling in your heart or just an essence forces, we believe it doesn’t matter. It’s not going to affect the exercise and train soul. However, what will affect the train? So is how you pray and to who you pray to please understand that this is very important. It’s all about which I was mentioned earlier the alignment and the setting off our soul. Okay, And I think because

I loved that movie so much growing up and eventually became a filmmaker, my grandmother saw that and she knew that through movies is the way I would understand So, yes, it is true that she was basically holding her fists up to God in defiance and basically vowing that she will lie, cheat, steal, or even killed to become wealthy. And most of you have seen the movie. At the end of the film, she was the richest woman in Atlanta. And what does that say about prayer and the exercise soul, huh? Here. Hey, all you listener’s. I hope you’re enjoying today’s lesson, and then it’s helping you strengthen your soul and live your best life. However, if you’re facing a difficult situation, I don’t know what to do or where to turn. And you know that there’s only so much that you can get out of a self help book. Motivational Instagram means and, of course, inspired podcasts. Well, perhaps I could help you see, we all go through emotional times, where we struggle just to wake up in the morning, whether it be a love issue, true loneliness or just feeling a loss of purpose.

For years, I’ve been helping people from all walks of life to conquer their greatest challenges to spiritual understanding and the philosophy of righteousness. So if you’re in the tri-state area and you wish to have a private session with me. Remember, you don’t have to go through this alone. Someone’s here to help.

Okay, welcome back in latent seekers to our understanding of how prayer can help train our souls. Okay, we discussed earlier about Gone with the Wind, Scarlett O’Hara praying in defiance and using basically criminal and almost evil words in her prayers, seeking out revenge upon people promising to do harm to people anything she could do never to feel the way she was feeling again. And that’s usually how darkness works. It puts us in a position if it allows us to follow a pat into deep to spread despair and then our prayers shift into something negative.

So it’s important to remember that when we pray that our mindset and our soul set is set to the right setting, if you will meaning righteousness and the attributes of God. Now people tell me, Oh, George used the word righteousness or not, and is it like, right and wrong? Well, listeners right and wrong is relative. For example, my producer is wearing a gray sweater. Seems very nice. I’m looking at it right now, but if I wear it, it might be too small for me because he has a smaller frame. So the sweater is right for him, but it might be right for me. So right and wrong is relative.

I can go deeper into that analogy. It’s right for someone to rob me and make money instead of it’s right for me to protect myself and put an alarm on my home. So it is relative. But righteousness is the explanation off attributes. Okay, my producer wants me to clear up something. What I meant was a criminal was right for a criminal is to rob me. That’s right for him. It’s not right for him to rob me, but it’s right in his mind because obviously that’s his business. And it’s right for me to protect my home. So it’s relative, so we’ll go over it again. And righteousness is really talking about attributes. The attributes of God OK, the attributes off love See love has other relations. Relatives, if you will clarity, prosperity, joy, charity forgiveness. These are the attributes of light. The attributes of our soul. Okay, now, as I explained in last week’s show, there’s another part of the soul that has characteristics. Now people always ask me, Why do you say that you teach the attributes of life and the characteristics of evil? Because attributes, if I understand the word correctly, stay in one place and characteristics change. So the light or God, the attributes of God are always digging their foundation. They say the same, and evils changes. It switches. It’s never It’s never the same. It’s manipulative. Have any of you ever guys hear the word? The truth has one voice and lies have many. Well, it’s kind of a similar kind of ideology of that. So back to understand, to praying the proper way when we pray and we’re way should pray in the setting of righteousness in really first in unselfishness. So the best prayer is when we’re praying for others and we’re asking for okay, we’re asking for blessings for others, as I did in the beginning of this podcast, I pray that all my listeners have could held joy, prosperity, financial pressing. It is righteousness because it’s unselfish. It is praying for others, and when we do pray for something that we need. The key word there is need. Praying for a trip to Hawaii is not the most righteous prayer. I’m not saying you guys can’t do it. I understand that people do it. I’ll do it myself. But if we want to understand how we train our soul into strengthened the light part of our core, the best way to do that is at least once a day at least try and pray for someone else. It truly, truly, truly will will change your life, even a stranger. Because even though I’m glad you guys were listening, use are strangers to me. And I pray all the joy of 2020 on you. Prosperity, financial blessings. It’s also important to know who we are praying for. I want to share a quick story about a client of mine. A dear client of mine I admire very well. And she was with a gentleman who was ill. Just say not very righteous. Okay. You know, several times there was violence in the relationship. Uh, there was abuse and my client came to see me. We did some extensive work on training her soul and basically getting out of that darkness. Thankfully, it took some time. But this woman got out of this relationship and is now in a better relationship. And we’ve done some extensive work, you know, prayer, meditation, proper worship. And I remember I haven’t seen her for a while and she comes to me and she says, You know, I think I’m a better person. I’m in a great place right now and I’m praying for my acts a lot. And I was like, That’s interesting. What do you praying? Oh, I’m praying that they be happy and I’m praying they get what they want. And I said, Well, what? Whoa, whoa, ho ho! Hold on, hold on. Why would you pray for them to be happy and get what they want? And she goes old George? Well, I thought that’s what you would want me to do. Now I have to say, to be fair, she is not the only client that I had this problem with. OK about that is that this happens quite often at least twice a year. So I said to her, I’m not going to give any names. I said, You know, if we both believe that this person is in darkness and we’re not angry with him, because then we would be in darkness, right? Yeah, we’re not angry. So you have the ability to pray for this person? Correct. Yeah. Has this person, for far as you know, changed? No, they’re they’re been into relationships since, and both have been abusive and they still don’t, you know, talk to his mother and blah, blah, blah. And I said, Well, then this person setting is wrong. They’re they’re they’re soul is in the improper city. So if we are praying that this person is happy and receives everything they want, that we’re subconsciously praying for this person to continue their negative behavior because presently that’s what makes them happy. And that is the wrong way to pray. See the subtle little things that we don’t think of. And we know our intention. My client’s intention was pure righteousness. But I often say that darkness or evil is extremely clever, which is quick and manipulative thinking, and we’ll spin someone’s righteous intentions into creating power and prayer. So my client left said, you know, Georgia, I didn’t think of it that way. I should pray that this person’s finds joy. I said they’re ago and she said, As you taught me, happiness doesn’t belong to God And I said, Yes, that’s right because you see listeners Too many people come to me and sit across with me at my desk and say, You know, George, I want to be happy. The people that hurt me and the people that use me are happy, and I want to be happy, too. And I explained to them that happiness doesn’t necessarily belong to God. Now let’s not be confused. It doesn’t not belong to God. But happiness is a fleeting emotion, like pain. It comes and goes, and people can most definitely hurt you, steal from you, manipulate you and then go off and be happy about it. It’s very important to understand that, you know, uh, two people could go and rob a bank and get drunk. And I promise you don’t b b counting their money so it doesn’t necessarily belong to God. But when we pray, as she said, I pray for joy. No joy. Joy is an emotion without negativity, my listeners, and this is what you mustn’t do that with enjoy. When you are feeling joy. There was no fear. There is no feeling that you’re doing something wrong. There is certainty is a matter of fact. I often teach that joy is the closest thing to certainty that we have on dessert. So therefore, when you pray, it’s important that a T least one prayer a day is unselfish, is for someone else and isn’t always make sure that the person you’re praying for if you believe and that’s okay, you can judge, and we’ll have a show about that later. If you believe that this person is in the wrong path and maybe in darkness, then pray for that person to find joy. The fine light, the fine clarity or compassion. And if you can pray for yourself to continue to find joy, prosperity and always remember this part of a good train soul is prayer. The second part is meditation, and the third part is worship a better way to look at it, and we’ll close with this. Prayer is asking for worship is acting like, and meditation is hanging with so remember prayer is asking for so thank you listeners and again, Happy New Year. Happy to your New year to your family toe everyone that you love And may you keep exercising your soul. Thank you. Well, enlightenment seekers. That concludes our lesson. I hope and pray that you’re sold out a little bit brighter. And remember to give yourself some time to meditate, pray and appreciate every single day. That way to talk to you next time. The Soul Trained

Welcome listeners, and welcome to the blogpost of The Soul Trained. This is a spiritual show, and people always ask me, “Why did you call it The Soul Trained?” A lot of people didn’t like “Soul Trained” because, obviously, if you guys are old enough to remember the TV show “The Soul Train,” it was like the rival to “American Bandstand.” Everyone was like, “It sounds too much like The Soul Train.” I’m like, “Well, that’s good. That’s name recognition, right?”

Anyways, I’m G.S. Eli. I’m a spiritualist. A lot of people don’t know what a spiritualist is. They get misconceptions of what a spiritualist actually does. Quite simply, it’s just an expert on the spirit. Someone who has studied the spirit, either through academics or just personal experience with the spirit, like I did.

You see, I grew up in what we would call a Roma family. For those who don’t know what the word “Roma” means or “Romani,” or what we say in America, “Romamia,” it means Gypsy. Now, in today’s modern political correctness, Gypsy is derogatory. So we don’t use it. I don’t really mind it. I know a lot of Roma activists that would really, really be upset if you called them a Gypsy to their face.

Having said that, back to spiritualism. I grew up in a Roma family, which you guys would think is very superstitious. Everybody knows the Hollywood version of the Gypsy people, the Roma people. That’s the singing and dancing, fortune telling — (laughing). My producer’s making me laugh over there — a fortune-telling idea of spirituality.

But a spiritualist is a very experienced professional of emotional spirit. For example, you can’t be a spiritualist if you’re 25 years old. There’s just no way. To just give you some insight of the evolution of a spiritualist, here’s a good way to think about it: a fortune teller that practices every day by using tools — tarot cards, crystals, tea leaves, palms, whatever — and he or she starts at, let’s say 18, 19, 20. By 24, 25, they’ve developed into being a psychic, whether they like it or not, because now their intuition has developed. Everybody following me?

Now, at this point in their lives, when they’ve experienced this for 10 years, practiced this for 10 years, they now choose to pick a kind of genre, for example, a medium. A medium, as most of you already know, speaks with the dead. But, if they choose to continue studying their intuitiveness and then working with the attributes of humanity, and they use their intuition, and then practice that for at least another 10 years? Well, guess what. The psychic evolves into a spiritualist, whether they like it or not. They now have experience with clients and they’ve seen how people fought through love problems and financial problems and family issues.

They’ve basically seen it all at this time. So they become somewhat experts on human behavior. OK. Data tells like if they’re wearing cufflinks or not or whatever, an emotional kind of characteristics. Now, it goes even deeper. Deeper than that. Once a person is a spiritualist and studies the spirit and understands it and practices it every day like I do and have been for years, their intuitiveness, with their knowledge on human behavior, creates a very advantageous helper, if you will.

So, understanding what a spiritualist is is fortune teller, leads to psychic, and then you can develop a genre, whether it’s mediumship or energy work or, — what I chose to do is study human behavior and the attributes of righteousness and the characteristics of evil, which you will learn in this podcast or future shows that both live in our spirit — will evolve into a spiritualist and eventually an advisor.

Hey, all you listeners. I hope you’re enjoying today’s lesson and it’s helping you strengthen your soul and live your best life. However, if you’re facing a difficult situation and don’t know what to do or where to turn, and you know there is only so much you can get out of a self-help book, motivational Instagram memes, and, of course, an inspiring podcast, well, then perhaps I can help.

You see, we all go through emotional adversity, where we struggle just to wake up in the morning, whether it be a love issue, true loneliness or just feeling the loss of purpose. For years, I’ve been helping people of all walks of life to conquer their greatest challenges through spiritual understanding and the philosophy of righteousness.

——

Welcome back, listeners. Let’s get back to understanding a spiritualist and understanding why it’s called The Soul Trained. OK. Well, I was thinking that the very first show, we can talk about what I always talk about when I first meet a client. Before I can really help anybody with a problem when I sit with them, first I have to explain to them that their soul exists.

Now, I usually have funny little names for my lessons because, simply said, if they’re funny, you simply remember them better. So this one is called “I kinda believe,” which really it should be called “Spirituality 101.” Or maybe “Ghost 101” is better because it’s your ghost.

You see, throughout human history, if human beings did not see something or could touch it, they did not think it exists. For example, we believed that the world was flat. And we believed the air wasn’t real because we couldn’t see it. And it wasn’t until Sir Isaac Newton that we thought gravity was a thing because we couldn’t feel it, we couldn’t touch it. Scientists had to wait until we could prove these things.

It’s the same thing with the spirit because we can’t see it, we can’t touch it. But religious people tell us what’s there in the modern world, so we believe it’s there. But here’s something you can think about. How many times have you heard someone say, “Oh, I’m not religious, but I’m very spiritual”? I hear that a lot. I kind of get a kick out of it because growing up Roma, like I said before, we actually know what the spirit means. It’s kind of cute because people think it means when they say they’re spiritual that this somehow is telling the other person that they have a moral standard, a righteous moral standard, when in actuality, spirituality is both righteousness and evil. The spirit does not necessarily belong to righteousness of God alone.

For example, just really quickly, love is a spiritual emotion. Does everybody agree on that? But so is hate. Generocity is an emotion, a righteous, spiritual emotion. But so is greed. But, I diverge.

Back to understanding the spirit and how we kind of prove that it exists. If I’m going to have you guys listen to the show, I keep calling myself a spiritualist and calling the show The Soul Trained, I’ve got to prove to you that it exists, right?

So here it goes. So, how many of you ever fell in love? Or how many of you have ever witnessed something terrible, like seeing a loved one at a funeral and the first time you view that loved one laying there in a coffin? And if you can pinpoint the moment where that feeling came from on your person, it’s best to really find out where it didn’t come from. It didn’t come from your elbow. It didn’t come from your head, where a lot of neurologists say all these emotions come from. In later shows I’ll share with you my opinion of how that’s not true. Our brain is a calculator, and it’s following a command from another entity, which is the spirit.

Every single human being listening can say that that feeling came from your upper gut, but not your heart. Our heart is an organ that pumps blood into our veins. It comes from just below our heart and above our tummy. This is the geography of the soul, the geography on our person.

Take a poll. Ask everybody in your house what I asked: Where did that feeling come from? Or better yet, how about you finish these sentences for me. When I first fell in love, I felt like I had butterflies in my — gut. When I saw my loved one in a coffin, I felt like I got punched in the — gut. You see, it’s all in the center. If you ever was at a yoga class or a meditation class, and the teacher said “Center yourself,” and you’re kind of like, “What does that mean? Is that in the center of the room?” No. It means put your focus on your center because that’s the geography of the spirit. It comes from the center.

So there we go. We just established a geography on your person. See, we’re building evidence, Spirituality 101. OK. Great. We have a geography.

Now, let’s talk about when a human being passes away. I bet most of you don’t know that the human body loses several ounces of weight when the human body passes away that’s unaccounted for. This has been studied.

Now, the majority of doctors believe that it’s the soul. And the remaining minority believe? You’ll never guess what they say it is. The famous answer is “We don’t know.” They just don’t give an answer. But the majority believes it’s the soul.

So here we have it. We have a geography, and we have a weight. So what else can we prove that the soul exists? How about a sensation, a feeling? Well, because this is a podcast, I can’t demonstrate it like I do with my clients when they’re in front of me when I use my singing bowl. I’ll hit my singing bowl so you guys can get a better reference. (The bowl chimes like a bell). That’s my singing bowl, and I use that for guided meditation. But all of you know music, right? All of you have been listening, whether you’re listening in your car or in your room or at a wedding, a certain song that comes in and you just feel it right in your gut. It’s the sensation that’s right there. You don’t feel it anywhere else. You don’t feel it in your leg. Like some songs say, you feel it right in your center.

So again, let’s recap even again, one more time. We have a geography. We have a weight. And we have a sensation. So there you have it. The soul does exist. So we can’t say, “I kind of believe.”

But what’s in our soul? Well, the soul has three sections, OK? There’s the light section, which is the emotions of love, emotions of forgiveness, of kindness. Then we have a dark section, OK? That’s the other side of the soul. That is the emotions of hate, greed, cleverness, manipulation. And the foundation of all our souls is intention, what we are intending to do.

So if we kind of really understand intention — there is a spiritual saying, I use it quite a lot. It’s intention will always meet its goal. So if you can sort of just close your eyes and visualize your spirit, whether you visualize it as a orb, a beam of light or a flame — a flame is a good way to look at it — and you split that flame in two and one part is lighter and one part is darker. And then the foundation is intention.

So the heavier the dark part of your core is, that’s what your intention will be. So, my hope is that throughout this podcast and through the guests we’re going to meet, the people we’re going to interview, and my lessons to you, we are going to understand the soul a lot better, and we’re going to exercise the soul in a way that we embrace the lighter part of the core. And with that, we will live our best life.

And I hope that this lesson will help you understand that the soul doesn’t “kind of” exist. It does exist.

——

Well, enlightenment seekers, that concludes our lesson. I hope and pray that your soul got a little bit brighter. And remember to give yourself some time to meditate, pray and appreciate every single day.
